Jason Bay blasted 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the St. Paul Saints defeated the
Jefferson Park Penguins 9 to 5 at the ballpark.

Bay was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at
their team's expense. He rifled a three-run blast in the 1st inning and hit
a bases-empty home run (his 16th of the season) in the 9th inning. St. Paul
simply wore out the Jefferson Park pitching staff, scoring in 6 different
innings.

Jamie Moyer(8-5) allowed 5 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Francisco Cordero recorded the save, his 11th. The loss was charged
to Brandon Webb(6-6). He was touched for 7 hits and 4 walks in 3 and 2/3
innings.

St. Paul now has a record of 37-34. Steve Seydell was unhappy with his club's
recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be
embarrassing after a while.'
